Yvette Kibwika serves as the co-chair of the Harambee Centre, a local Pacific NW non-profit currently completing on-going projects in East Africa and is the current Director of Development for the National African Students Association. Ambassador Sandra Nalumansi is a Ugandan Beauty Pageant Tittle holder who was crowned Miss Tourism Buganda/Buddu Ssaza in 2017. She represented Uganda at the Miss Africa Beauty Queen 2018 in Lagos-Nigeria and was crowned the Ambassador for Peace and Unity in Africa. At the Miss Africa Beauty Queen contest, Ambassador Sandra made it to the top 5 at the grand finale and scooped the 3rd runner-up crown out of 54 representatives from the rest of the African countries. She is the first beauty queen to be awarded the title of Peace Ambassador in Africa and globally.
The Ambassador of Peace and Unity in Africa, Sandra Nalumansi, has been tasked with a mission to organize communities in Uganda to become aware and be part of the rebuilding efforts in Mozambique. Her role has brought her to Mozambique to explore the role of agents in Peace keeping during and after natural disasters.
